YOUNGSTERS GUNNING FOR GLORY!
QPR Under-18's travel to London Road - the home of Peterborough United - for their Puma Youth Alliance League Cup quarter-final this evening (Monday).
The two sides have already met once this season, with Romone Rose scoring the only goal of the game in the young R's 1-0 victory on the opening weekend of the campaign.
YOUNG R'S SEAL SEMI-FINAL PLACE
Aaron Morgan-Cummings hit a hat-trick, as QPR Under-18's booked their place in the last four of the Puma Youth Alliance League Cup with a comfortable win against Peterborough United.
The R's front-man was joined on the scoresheet by Romone Rose and Antonio German, as Steve Brown's young-guns advanced to the semi-final stage with a thumping 5-1 victory at a freezing London Road.
Rose, who is currently on a period of work experience at AFC Wimbledon, opened the scoring in the 12th minute, before Morgan-Cummings doubled the R's advantage just two minutes later.
Rangers continued to orchestrate proceedings as the half evolved, only for Posh to pull a goal back ten minutes before the break.
But a quick-fire brace from Morgan-Cummings and a fifth on the hour from German clinched Rangers' safe passage into the last four.
