Youngster set to make Rangers bow
Michael Mancienne could make his first start for QPR in their match at West Brom on Tuesday night.
The 18-year-old defender - on loan from Chelsea - came on as a substitute after just 22 minutes of the 1-1 draw with Leicester on Saturday after Pat Kanyuka had hobbled off.
And, if Kanyuka does not recover from the knock in time, Mancienne is likely to start alongside Damion Stewart in central defence.
Midfielder Gareth Ainsworth also figured as a substitute after shaking off hamstring trouble and could start at The Hawthorns, but forward Paul Furlong is still building match fitness after a thigh injury.
Marc Bircham (hamstring) may be forced to sit the game out, while Simon Royce is expected to keep his place in goal ahead of Paul Jones.
