Young R's Draw First Home Game
Rangers Youngsters drew 1-1 with Luton at Harlington on Saturday morning in their opening home match of the season. Antonio German was the scorer as the R's came back from being behind at half time.
There was a minutes silences observed before kick off in honour of former Youth Team member Ray Jones. But the game was just ten minutes old when Luton took the lead following a bright start from the visitors.
But it was all Rangers from there on in and by all accounts, the R's, playing a 4-3-3 formation, created enough chances to win 3 matches. But Antonio German's header on 55 minutes was all Rangers had to show for their dominance. In fact, Luton nearly nicked the points as a stoppage time free kick smashed the crossbar.
