Young Reserves Lose at Orient
A first half penalty was enough for a strong Leyton Orient side to beat a not so strong, QPR line up at Brisbane Road this afternoon. Left back Andy Howell was the only senior professional to take the field for the R's. Rangers young second string, more than held their own against an Orient side that included seven first team regulars. Sean Thornton scored the decisive penalty following keeper, Crowther's foul on Silvester. Angelo Balanta was the star for the R's and he gave the Orient defence a very difficult afternoon. QPR Reserves: Crowther (Goodchild 46), Coyne, Ford, Howell, Brown, Davenport, O'Brien (Vanterpool 60), Arthur, Balanta, German (Folkes 66), Rose. Subs: Morgan, Wright. The Reserves are next in action against Watford at Loftus Road on Tuesday 27th November, kick off 7.00pm.
