Young Hoops star shines for England
QPR youngster Dean Parrett turned in an accomplished performance to help England under-16s draw 1-1 with Wales in the Victory Shield on Friday.
The roving midfielder, promoted to the side despite only being 14, played the entire 90 minutes as a James Owen own goal and Leigh Smith's equaliser for Wales inside the opening 14 minutes settled the game.
Watford goalkeeper Jonathan North was also in inspired form to deny Kenny Swain's England side victory with a host of fine saves throughout.
Parrett will now be hoping to be involved when England take on Northern Ireland in Ballymena on November 9.
