Yeovil complete Doherty loan deal
Yeovil Town have signed QPR midfielder Tommy Doherty on a month's loan.
The ex-Northern Ireland international, 26, has joined the League One club's battle to avoid relegation.
"He brings a wealth of experience and he's got that winning mentality and we need strong characters," Yeovil boss Steve Thompson told Sir Stanley.
"Not many players seem to play centre midfield, it seems to be a bit of a dying art, but Tommy has played it all his life."
Thompson added: "He had a badly bruised shin at QPR and it's kept him out for three or four months but he's back training for five weeks and was available."
Doherty won nine caps for Northern Ireland, but announced last September that he no longer wished to play international football.
