Wycombe told to pay up
SSB reports today that, despite his large weekly wage draining resources and him not featuring for the first team in more than a year, Rangers are demanding a £100k for midfielder Tommy Doherty. He spent the end of last season on loan at Wycombe and looked set for a return until now.
QPR are adamant Wycombe will have to pay £100,000 for Tommy Doherty.
The Chairboys were hoping the midfielder, 28, would be allowed to join for nothing after last season's loan.
But Rangers chairman Gianni Paladini insisted: "It's very simple. We just cannot afford to let Tommy go for free."
