WE MUST NULLIFY QPR SAYS IRON BOSS
Iron boss Nigel Adkins says is squad are in high spirits heading to Queens Park Rangers at the weekend.
United bounced back from a dismal Humber derby display, and result, against Hull City to put in a performance full of character, which saw them defeat promotion-chasing Plymouth at Glanford Park in midweek.
With just nine games left now, Adkins knows another three points are needed as Scunthorpe attempt to turn the heat up on their relegation rivals.
"We did a lot of talking about the Hull defeat and responded in a magnificent way," said the boss, speaking to SSB.
"We debriefed the Plymouth game on Thursday morning and I was very pleased with the attitude and commitment of everybody, and we move forward to the QPR game now.
"We have had a good analysis of QPR. We know it is going to be difficult so we have got to make sure that we have got players who are fit, strong, and try and put them in the right positions.
"We have to nullify the strengths of QPR - but also work on the strengths that we have got, and attack the weaknesses they have."
