Warnock: Foxes are biggest test so far
Neil Warnock believes the visit of Leicester tomorrow afternoon will be the biggest challenge of the season so far for his table-topping team. Rangers have impressed so far this season and continue to look favourites to gain promotion to the Premier League, but Warnock is aware of the potential of other teams in the Championship. "I think it goes without saying that it will be the biggest test of the season for (QPR keeper) Paddy (Kenny) and the back four in front of him, especially with the likes of Yakubu and Darius Vassell on show," he said. With Leicester on a great run having lost only once in 2011, propelling Sven-Goran Eriksson's Foxes into the play-off picture, Warnock is looking forward to the encounter. He said: "No disrespect to clubs at the bottom end, but these types of games really whet the appetite. I've certainly been looking forward to it for a number of weeks now." Eriksson, meanwhile, reserved special praise for QPR and their performance in the league so far this season, as well as highlighting the number of individual match-winners as one of the reasons for their success He said: "When you read the table you understand everything - so far they have been the best team in the division and I don't think the table is lying. They have four or five attacking players that can decide games by themselves." Warnock could bring Ismael Miller back into the QPR team if he can overcome a hamstring problem, but Tommy Smith, also suffering with an injured hamstring, will not be risked. Leicester will be without Chelsea loanee Patrick van Aanholt who has been ruled out with a thigh injury, and they are also waiting on the fitness of goalkeeper Chris Weale. Second place Swansea face a tough trip to relegation-threatened Scunthorpe. The Welsh team are searching for a win to keep the heat on QPR and prevent Warnock's men running away with the league. Skipper Garry Monk is the only Swansea absentee whereas Scunthorpe could be missing up to six of their key players. Cardiff will be looking to maintain pressure on the top two when they host a rejuvenated Ipswich side in the late kick-off. Cardiff have lost once since New Year's Day, but come up against an Ipswich team which has been given a new lease of life under new boss Paul Jewell. The rest of the chasing pack - Nottingham Forest, Norwich and Leeds - all face home games against Hull, Preston and Doncaster respectively. Burnley are at home to Crystal Palace, Reading host Middlesbrough and Millwall travel to Vicarage Road to face Watford. Portsmouth entertain Sheffield United, Barnsley are away at Derby and Coventry are at home to Bristol City.
