Wales line up friendly in Holland
Wales are close to arranging a friendly with The Netherlands on Sunday, 1 June.
Final contracts have not yet been signed, but both parties are confident the match will go ahead as planned.
The match at The Feyenoord Stadium in Rotterdam will be the first between the two sides since Wales' 7-1 defeat in a World Cup qualifier in 1996.
Wales are also keen to arrange another friendly in Europe in the build-up to the Dutch encounter, probably to be played on 24 May.
They have already agreed three other friendly matches as part of their preparation for the start of the 2010 World Cup qualifiers in September.
They will host Norway at Wrexham's Racecourse Ground on 6 February before travelling to face Luxemburg on Wednesday, 26 March, with the venue and time yet to be confirmed.
The final friendly will be against Georgia on Wednesday, 20 August. The venue and time for that match are also to be announced.
Wales manager John Toshack will view Georgia's style as good preparation for their World Cup qualifying campaign, which starts on 3 September.
Russia and Azerbaijan are two of Wales' opponents in Group Four.
Germany, who Wales faced during qualifying for the 2008 European Championship finals, Finland and Liechtenstein complete the group.
