Waddock unmoved by doom merchants
Gary Waddock insists the pundits predictions that Queens Park Rangers will struggle this season do not bother him as the club have their own targets.
Rangers have picked up five points from their opening four games, but after struggling over the final months of last season critics have claimed Waddock's side will be in for another struggle.
However the Rangers boss has shrugged off the predictions, insisting the squad have set their own targets.
\"I don't mind at all we have set our target in-house,\" said Waddock. \"We know what we want to achieve. We have some good players in the squad and the squad are pulling together.\"
On the weekend's draw at Deepdale, Waddock felt his side should have taken all three points have seen a late striker from Paul McKenna cancel out Gareth Ainsworth's opener.
\"I'm a bit disappointed we didn't hold out for the three points. I should be delighted coming up here and going back to London with one point, but we should have had three.
\"Preston had a lot of possession, but didn't really break us down too often.\"
