Waddock ready to wield axe
Gary Waddock is starting to plan for the future and says he is ready axe players from the squad to make QPR a success.
Waddock still has the job on a caretaker basis but that has not stopped him thinking about the future and he is ready to wield the axe if he gets it permanently.
A decision has not been made yet but Waddock is hoping he gets the chance to turn things around.
"The caretaker role is still my title, but I am now planning for the future," Waddock said. "If that means shaking up the squad, I will definitely do it.
"Everyone wants to be liked, but I'm not here to be liked: I'm here to be successful.
"I will have to make some decisions that are not going to be popular among the players, and I will have no problem with doing that."
