VINE SUFFERS INJURY SETBACK
QPR striker Rowan Vine has been forced to undergo further surgery after another setback in his recovery from a broken leg.
The 26-year-old, who suffered the injury in a training ground incident last season, faces being sidelined well into next year after going under the knife at the weekend.
"Part of the fracture in his tibia hasn't responded as quickly as we would have liked and as a result Rowan has undergone further surgery," Rangers physio Paul Hunter told the club's official website.
"It's impossible to predict how long he well be sidelined for. Rowan is hugely annoyed, but he's been first class throughout the whole rehabilitation process and he needs to maintain that attitude now."
