Vine makes date for Hoops comeback
Rowan Vine has targeted next Wednesday's QPR reserve fixture against Charlton for his return to competitive football.
The £2million forward broke both his tibia and fibula in a freak training ground incident just shy of a year ago and has suffered two setbacks since then in a bid to play this season.
But Vine believes his troubles are behind him and reckons that if all goes well against the Addicks second-string, the 26-year-old could make a Championship comeback against Charlton's south London rivals at the beginning of April.
He said: "The leg feels fine. I'm tackling in training and everything else that goes with a full-on effort.
"And I'm hoping to play some part against Charlton - with the home match against Crystal Palace on April 4 as a realistic aim to get back into the first team."
for gods sake don't rush him back,i would much rather he comes in 100% for the start of next season.
