VINE JOINS QPR Midfielder Rowan Vine has today left Blues to join Championship side Queens Park Rangers on a four-and-a-half year deal.
The fee for the 25-year-old is £1m.
Vine finished a successful loan spell with the R's on January 1.
During his two month stint with Luigi De Canio's side he made 18 appearances and scored three goals.
Vine's career with Blues began in January 2007 when he was signed from Luton Town for an undisclosed fee by former Blues boss Steve Bruce.
However he found his chances limited at St. Andrew's and made just 19 appearances over the past year, scoring one goal.
But that goal was crucial as it came in a 1-0 win against fellow promotion contenders Derby County at St. Andrew's last March.
At the end of the 2006/07 season Derby finished just two points behind Blues in a 3rd place play-off spot.

Vine completes £1m switch to QPR Queens Park Rangers have completed the signing of forward Rowan Vine from Birmingham City for around £1m.
Vine, 25, impressed during a recent loan spell at Rangers and has agreed a four-and-a-half-year contract.
Left-sided player Sebastian Rusculleda, 22, is also expected to join the R's this week from Argentine club Tigre.
And QPR have been trying to sign ex-Aston Villa and Wolves goalkeeper Stefan Postma, who is currently with Dutch side ADO Den Haag.

and come rain or shine Untill 1997 I was at Loftus road!! Then my problems began....hope to get back to full fitness soon so I can go again, but I wont be working for the Club again 14 years as a steward was great but I missed the terraces!! I now have a daughter who is a hoop and I hope to take her this year before the end of the season!! :clap:
