Tottenham 9-2 QPR
Jonathan Woodgate and Jamie O’Hara made their long awaited respective return to action in the Spurs XI vs QPR Reserves friendly.
Woodgate has not featured since Tottenham’s 9-1 victory over Wigan in November 2009 - a bizarre fact considering Spurs XI won the match 9-2.
O’Hara has been absent since returning to the club with a back problem. He spent last season on loan at relegated Portsmouth, and his last match was the FA Cup final loss to Chelsea in May 2010.
According to Imscout.com, Spurs’ Technical Co-Ordinator Tim Sherwood said: “Woody was outstanding. He's not played for such a long time, but it was as if he'd never been away. Jamie also showed what he's all about and a lot of experienced players in the line-up applied themselves well."
