Full back
Born - February 18 1925, Harrogate
QPR Career - Record appearance holder, 548 appearances 3 goals.
Tony served in the navy and trained as an electrician before embarking on a football career with Harrogate Town and then Leeds United. He had to compete with John Charles and John Milburn for football at Elland Road so moved south to join QPR and has remained pretty much ever since. Once he'd finished playing he worked as the lottery manager, the commercial manager, did some coaching, served on the board, worked in the pre-match hospitality - basically anything to stay close to the club he calls his own. A true Rangers legend and still the record appearance holder for the club.
