Striker signs new deal
Striker Antonio German is hoping to celebrate signing a new deal at QPR with victory at Middlesbrough this weekend.
The 18-year-old scored on his full debut against Doncaster last weekend and has signed a contract to keep him at Loftus Road until June 2012.
He told the club's official website: "I was out of contract at the end of the season so I am just happy to get it all done.
"Now I can concentrate on my football.
"It gives me a big lift because it shows that the club are keen to keep me here."
Midfielder Mikele Leigertwood returns to the side at the Riverside Stadium after a three-match ban, while on-loan Ipswich striker Tamas Priskin is back in contention following a groin problem.
But fellow loanee Marcus Bent will be absent once again after failing to recover from injury, while defender Matthew Connolly has an ankle problem.
Rangers are still without long-term knee-injury victims Martin Rowlands and Gavin Mahon.
