Striker hits back at Shepherd's comments
Daniel Nardiello said he was "disappointed" at comments made by Barnsley chairman Gordon Shepherd over his controversial QPR move.
The former Manchester United trainee was due to sign a new deal at Oakwell on Monday - but had a sudden change of heart and pulled out at the last minute.
The 24-year-old was heavily criticised by Tykes supremo Shepherd, claiming he had given assurances that he would only leave them for a club closer to his Midlands home.
Nardiello then signed a two-year deal with QPR after also rejecting a late move by Norwich.
"It's not as black and white as he's trying to make out," Nardiello told BBC Radio Sheffield.
