Boss Lippiatt to leave St Albans
Manager Colin Lippiatt is to leave St Albans City at the end of the season following the Saints relegation. Lippiatt is leaving to take up a non-management position with another Conference National club. He told City's website: "It's right and proper for me to go. I feel the focus and commitment you need for running a team isn't there for me for next year." Lippiatt led St Albans up into the Conference for the first time in their history last summer.

Lippiatt set to join Woking board
Former Woking manager Colin Lippiatt is to re-join the Cards as a director once he has stepped down as St Albans boss. Lippiatt told SSB: "I've had 29 seasons in non-league football. "You don't profess to know it all but I hope I have a lot of experience to offer, in terms of player recommendations and negotiations. "The club are trying to find a new manager, so there are quite a lot of aspects to be sorted out"

St Albans close to naming manager
St Albans City say they expect to announce their new manager on Tuesday. The chairman and vice Chairman have recently held interviews to replace Colin Lippiatt, who stepped down at the end of the season after relegation. Earlier this month, first-team coach Nick Roddis also left the club after being told he was not in the running for the manager's job. A board meeting is being held on Monday evening, with the club suggesting there is a clear front runner for the job.
