Tottenham wait on Cook
Tottenham are again being linked with a summer swoop for highly-rated QPR winger Lee Cook, who could be on the move. The winger is a wanted man and after boss Martin Jol revealed that he is keen to strengthen his squad with a couple of wide men in the summer, Cook looks to be a target. The R's chairman Gianni Paladini has said in the past that he will not be sold unless someone comes up with £10million for the player, but it remains to be seen whether Tottenham would go that high. Jol will again have plenty of cash to spend in the summer and has already stated that he is keen to snap up the best young talent from the Championship, which looks to include Cook. Giles Barnes at Derby and Gareth Bale from Southampton are also on the gaffer's wanted list and it looks as though a swoop for Cook could also be on the cards.
