Bristol City boss Gary Johnson has expressed his frustration that suspension will rule forward Ivan Sproule out of the Robins Championship opener against QPR.
The 26-year-old, a summer signing from Hibernian, will miss City's first four fixtures of the new campaign following his disciplinary problems with the SPL side last season.
Johnson said: "It is frustrating because in our pre-season matches it was clear to see how much pace he has got and how dangerous he is going to be.
"He can play wide right or up front, he shuts people down and doesn't mind a tackle. He can be a force for us and it will be terrific when he is available."
