Speroni on Rangers link
Crystal Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni has refused to rule out the possibility of linking up with Neil Warnock again at QPR.
The Rangers boss is expected to test the resolve of his former employers over the summer, with a keeper top of his agenda.
Warnock is known to be an admirer of Speroni, once describing the Argentine as the best goalkeeper in the Championship.
He knows all too well the financial troubles currently inflicting the Eagles and may look to take advantage once the transfer window re-opens.
Speroni admits he is intrigued by the prospect of working with Warnock again but, with a year still to run on his current contract at Palace, accepts the matter lies out of his hands.
"I had a good time with Neil Warnock while he was here," he said.
"I've got one more season on my contract here. Then, whatever happens will happen."
Appointment
Meanwhile, QPR have appointed former York and Chesterfield manager Kevin Randall as the club's chief scout.
He is set to link up with Warnock for a third time, having previously worked alongside him at Sheffield United and Palace.
"The scouting area is one that has been lacking and we are keen to address it," Warnock told Rangers' official website.
"Kevin's appointment is the first step in doing that as we put a structure in place in order to build for the future."
