"It's good news that Joe and Dave have agreed to sign new contracts," Peters told the Shrews' website.
"Both have done really well for me this season, and the new contracts are recognition of this."
Earlier in the week, Peters began a clear-out of his squad ahead of next season by releasing eight players.

Hibs linked to Shrewsbury striker The agent of Shrewsbury Town's Luke Rodgers claims Hibernian will move for the striker if Derek Riordan leaves Easter Road.
Rodgers, 23, has rejected new terms with the League Two strugglers and could go north on a free transfer.
"We are waiting on Hibs but that is dependant on whether Riodan moves on," Mark Cartwright told the Scotsman.
Rodgers, who has been at Shrewsbury since 1999, scored six league goals last season.
Given Rodgers' age, a compensation fee would be required if he went to another English club but contract rules mean he would be classed as a free agent if he moved to Scotland on an "international transfer".
Riordan, 22, still has a year of his contract to run at Easter Road but has turned down the offer of an extended deal.
Celtic have made enquiries about the player but their offers fall well short of Hibs' valuation of their top scorer.
Riordan found the net 23 times last season - building on the 18 he scored during the previous campaign.
The young striker's form earned him a call up to the Scotland squad, although he did not feature in the recent World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Belarus.
