SHITTU LINKED TO WEST BROM
QPR defender Danny Shittu is expected to be the subject of an offer from West Brom after manager Brian Robson outlined his summer transfer targets.
Albion, who were relegated from the Premiership this season and will take on Rangers in the Championship next term, are hoping to add to their squad before the World Cup gets under way in Germany.
Shittu is valued in the region of £2.5million and if reports that he features on West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace's wanted list prove to be true, Rangers could face a battle to hold onto the centre-back.
Peace told the Express and Star: "I had a long meeting with Bryan (Robson) and Nigel (Pearson) to discuss what we want and we've got targets. I'll be relatively busy over the next few weeks and if we can do some early business, we will.
"It will be quiet during the World Cup and then it will pick up again."
