Seasiders given QPR star boost
Blackpool have been buoyed by news that on-loan Queens Park Rangers defender Ian Evatt has been given permission to play in the Carling Cup match with Barnsley.
Blackpool boss Simon Grayson was concerned that the centre-back would not be given clearance to play, having made a fine start to his stay at Bloomfield Road.
However, QPR boss Gary Waddock has allowed the former Chesterfield ace to play in Tuesday's first round tie.
