Santos on the move??
'Gorgeous' Georges Santos looks set to complete a move to Championship rivals Hull City today with the initial move on loan. The 35-year-old centre-back saw his loan move to the KC Stadium delayed last week after injuries at Loftus Road. Although Santos was an unused substitute in QPR's 1-1 draw with Brighton on Saturday, the experienced defender is expected to finalise a move today. But manager Peter Taylor admitted he could look elsewhere should the loan deal be delayed again ahead of Thursday's transfer deadline. 'He's a player I'm definitely interested in,' said Taylor. 'Should it get agreed, we would like to do it today. If it's not agreed by the end of Monday, there's every chance we'll go down a different route.' Santos could come into contention for Saturday's trip to former club Ipswich Town if he completes a move to the Tigers.

Hull's Santos deal not done
Caretaker boss Gary Waddock has confirmed there is "nothing happening" regarding Georges Santos' proposed switch to Hull City. The 35-year-old defender had been strongly linked with a move to the KC Stadium but, despite admitting there has been contact between the two clubs, Waddock insists talk of an imminent move is news to him. He said: "They've made an enquiry, but nothing's happened yet."

QPR will not release Hull target
Hull City boss Peter Taylor has been thwarted in a bid to sign QPR defender Georges Santos on loan. The Tigers had hoped to bring the 35-year-old Frenchman to the KC Stadium on loan, ahead of Thursday's Football League deadline for loan signings. "I tried to get George in last week but QPR had an injury and couldn't release him," Taylor told Sir Stanley. "That player's had the scan now and he'll be out for two to three weeks, so they can't release Georges." He added: "It's a bit of a blow, because he's got good experience and ability, and he could have helped us."
