Santos handed Imps trial
Lincoln City have handed a trial to the former West Brom and QPR defender Georges Santos.
The 37-year-old Frenchman played for Brighton and Oxford United last season and was recently released by Chesterfield, after signing for the Spireites on non-contract terms.
Red Imps boss Peter Jackson is keen to bolster his defence as Lee Beevers and Nat Brown are currently out injured.
"We've handed Georges a chance to impress and, since he's joined us, he's shown a great attitude," Jackson told the Lincolnshire Echo.
