Salgado on Hoops offer
Hoops target Michel Salgado has spoken of his intention to see out his career at Real Madrid. The Spanish full back has revealed he met bosses Flavio Briatore and Alejandro Agag in Vigo to discuss a possible move to London. The 32-year-old is yet to give an answer to the duo, but has reaffirmed his attachment to Los Merengues. “I had dinner with two friends to speak about loads of things,” Salgado told the Spanish press. “They told me about the project, but nothing more. “I don’t plan anything because I’m very happy and want to retire as a Real Madrid player, unless there’s a project on other levels. “The English possibility is not clear to me. I have started pre-season training with Real Madrid with the aim to look for, like everybody, the 10th European cup title and another Liga. “I’m my best psychologist. I’m aware of what I can give and I know what a footballer’s life is made of. “Life is made of stages and I’m facing a new one. I have to be focused on it. I’m about to turn 33, I’ve been playing lot of games at Real Madrid, and every stage has an end. “There was a before and an after my injury against Levante last season and most of all I’m not happy with myself. I think I didn’t play at my best level during some games.”
