Sahar handed optimistic return date
QPR loan star Ben Sahar could be back in training within three weeks after undergoing keyhole surgery for appendicitis on Saturday.
The Chelsea youngster, who announced his arrival at Loftus Road with a brace in the 2-1 pre-season friendly win against Fulham earlier in the month, missed the big kick-off after going down with stomach pains at the team hotel ahead of the opening-day clash with Bristol City.
Sahar was thought to be set to miss six weeks but club pyhsio Paul Hunter has delivered a more optimistic assessment of the Israel international's condition.
