RS HANDED WRIGHT BOOST
Former QPR chairman Chris Wright has reached an agreement to donate the proceeds from the sale of his shares to the club.
Wright agreed a deal to sell his stake to current chairman Bill Power but to allow Rangers to keep the money.
The announcement was made shortly after it was revealed that Wright's rugby union club Wasps - former tenants at Loftus Road - had extended their groundshare agreement with League Two outfit Wycombe.
Power said: "Chris had a substantial shareholding in QPR and we have come to a very fair agreement.
"A significant amount of money is coming into the club and a protracted issue has been happily resolved.
"Chris has made a very big gesture of goodwill and I thank him sincerely for that."
