Rs closing in on Hill
Rangers are closing in on the capture of Crystal Palace defender Clint Hill.
The 31-year-old stopper is out of contract this summer and is expected to leave The Eagles on a free transfer.
Former Tranmere, Oldham and Stoke defender Hill was a virtual ever-present this season after making 43 league starts.
However, with the club retaining their Championship status and still on the lookout for a buyer, Hill is considering his options.
Although a number of sides are hoping to secure his signature the ambitious Rs head the queue to bag his services.
Rangers boss Neil Warnock is a big admirer of Hill having worked with him during his time in charge of Palace and is keen to be reunited with him.
