ROYALS SEAL LEIGERTWOOD MOVE
Reading have agreed the transfer of Mikele Leigerwood from QPR.
The midfielder has been a revelation since arriving on loan from Loftus Road in November, helping his new club to the Championship play-off final.
And the Royals have agreed to pay "a substantial fee" for the 28-year-old, who will sign a three-year deal when the transfer window opens for business next month.
Leigertwood told Reading's website: "It goes without saying but I'm absolutely delighted. I've been very happy since the first minute I came here, and long may that continue."
Boss Brian McDermott said: "I knew from the first day Mikele came here that he would be perfect for Reading, and that has proved to be the case.
"I'm delighted he has joined us, not just because of his attributes as a player but also as a person, he has all the criteria that are good about professional footballers."
