Rowlands receives Ireland call
Martin Rowlands has been called into the Republic of Ireland squad for their forthcoming World Cup qualifying double-header.
The midfielder, who was sent off during Saturday's defeat by Swansea, was initially placed on stand-by but has now been confirmed in Giovani Trapattoni's full squad.
Ireland face Italy on October 10 and Montenegro on October 14.
