Rowlands has retained the QPR captaincy
Midfielder Martin Rowlands has retained the QPR captaincy with boss Jim Magilton claiming he was the "unanimous choice".
Rowlands missed much of last season with a knee injury but he will lead the side in the forthcoming campaign.
Magilton told the club's website: "Martin has been here a very long time, but is also a very, very good player.
"He's someone that people look up to and whilst it's never an easy decision, he ticked all the boxes."
