Ronaldinho sends warning to Wales
Ronaldinho has warned Wales they face a Brazil side on the rebound from their World Cup disappointment when they meet in Tuesday's White Hart Lane friendly.
Brazil lost to France in the last eight in Germany in June and Ronaldinho was out of sorts during the tournament.
The 26-year-old said: \"Every player in the Brazil squad went home shattered.
\"For me it was harder because I created a lot of expectations after the unbelievable form I'd been in. Now I'm more determined to show what I can do.\"
Ronaldinho has won the world player of the year award twice in a row and won La Liga and the Champions League with Barcelona last season.
He was heavily tipped to be the star of the World Cup in Germany but could only produce a succession of uninspired displays in a struggling side.
Now, under new coach Dunga, he says he has it all to prove again and wants to part of a new dawn for Brazilian football.
\"Every day you have to prove you deserve to be in the starting 11,\" added Ronaldinho.
\"A professional footballer has to 'kill a lion' every day to prove themselves worthy of being kept in the team.
\"I am here to do my best for Brazil and show I want to be in the national team for as long as possible.\"
Ronaldinho wants to replicate his Barca form for his country and hopes he will get that chance in Dunga's reign.
\"Barcelona play very attacking football,\" he said. \"They involve me in everything. I like to play further forward with more freedom.
\"I always try to play how I play for Barcelona but tactically it has been a bit different with Brazil.
\"This is a new era. I have had a conversation about it with Dunga.\"
Arsenal's new signing Julio Baptista is expected to make an appearance against Wales and Ronaldinho has predicted big things from him in the Premiership.
\"I have known him a long time and he is a great player,\" said Ronaldinho.
\"It will be easy for him to settle because his game is totally suited to the Premiership. I don't see why he can't become one of the stars of the season.\"
