Reserves at Aldershot
Yet again, the Rangers reserve line up had an unfamiliar look about it with Chris Barker being the only player with any first team experience on show. There were also six trialists on display for the R's.
Despite going behind early on, Rangers led 2-1 at half time through a stunning 25 yard free kick from Danny Maguire and an even more stunning, 45 yard effort from trialist Ross Kelly.
An own goal extended the R's lead early in the second half, only to find themselves pegged back to 3-3 following a spirited comeback from the home side. Danny Maguire restored Rangers lead from the penalty spot, but Aldershot's Jones, headed the equaliser in the last ten minutes.
