Real wait on Beckham rib injury
England captain David Beckham is doubtful for Real Madrid's game against Real Sociedad after he missed training on Wednesday with bruised ribs.
Real Madrid are already without French midfielder Zinedine Zidane because of a thigh injury.
"I can't really do gym exercises because every movement bothers me," Beckham told the club's website.
"I hope to play on Saturday but I will have to wait and see what happens with the injury."
Real Madrid are second in La Liga - behind Barcelona - but are under pressure for the automatic Champions League qualifying spot from Valencia and Osasuna.
