Real Madrid sporting director Predrag Mijatovic appears to have ruled out a summer move for Cristiano Ronaldo after admitting it would be 'impossible' to sign the Manchester United star. Ronaldo has been the ace in the United pack this season as his 28 Premier League goals have fired the Red Devils to the top of the table. And this form has only reinforced Mijatovic's long-term admiration of the 23-year-old winger. Mijatovic has made no secret of his desire to secure Ronaldo's signature, but he admits it is unlikely that the Portugal international will move to the Bernabeu any time soon. "Right now it is impossible to sign Cristiano Ronaldo," Mijatovic told Marca. "Who would not like to have him in their team? But we need to be realistic because his would be a very difficult signing." Mijatovic has also rubbished reports he has met with United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz. Sir Alex Ferguson's right-hand man spent an unsuccessful season with Real in 2003/04 when he was sacked at the end of the campaign after finishing fourth. And Mijatovic insists reports suggesting he has met with Queiroz are unfounded. "There has been talk about lots of things that have nothing to do with reality. They have also said I have been seen with Carlos Queiroz and it is not true," Mijatovic added.
