Real Madrid are hoping to keep Jose Antonio Reyes on a long-term basis. The Spain international moved to the Bernabeu before the close of the transfer window from Arsenal in a swap deal involving Julio Baptista. The moves are initially for a season, but Real president Ramon Calderon outlined the intention for Reyes to stay for several years. \"I think Reyes is going to stay here forever,\" Calderon told Sky Sports News. \"My idea is to sign a contract for six or seven years.\" Calderon revealed that both clubs have agreed on a fee should Reyes or Baptista remain at their new teams on a permanent basis.
