Rangers in shock link to Manchester City midfielder
Rangers are shock candidates for the signature of Manchester City destroyer Nigel de Jong.
Reports in the Daily Star claim that Manchester City are willing to offload the Dutch international in the winter transfer window and QPR are interested in a temporary deal.
De Jong has found it difficult to claim his place back in the City side following impressive performances from Gareth Barry and Yaya Toure in the middle of midfield.
However, De Jong could well receive a run of games when Toure joins up with the Ivory Coast for the African Cup of Nations early next year.
