Rangers Face Leyton Orient in the Carling Cup
QPR will face Leyton Orient in the first round of the League Cup this season. The draw was made this morning and ties will be played in the week commencing Monday 13 August, Sky have yet to announce which ties they will pick for live coverage.
It may have come as a bit of a shock that we didn't draw Northampton again, but a home tie against a League One side and a London derby has to be good. Martin Ling's side just about managed to avoid relagation last season, finishing in 20th place.
The last time we met was in 2002, again, in the League Cup, again in the first round and again, (in what was to become the norm in seasons to come) a defeat - as the O's ran out 3-2 winners at Brisbane Road.
