Rangers eye City swoop
Ambitious QPR are being linked with a raid on Manchester City for Wales striker Ched Evans.
The 19-year-old caught the eye on loan at Norwich last season and another temporary spell away from Eastlands, this time at Loftus Road, could be on the cards.
Rangers have the cash available for a permanent deal, but new City boss Mark Hughes is unlikely to make any hasty decisions as he evaluates his squad.
Evans scored 10 goals for the Canaries last season and also made his full international debut for John Toshack's Wales side.
Rangers have also been linked with Kevin Phillips and Bobby Zamora.
