Rangers confident over Pilgrims match..OFF!!!
Queens Park Rangers are confident that their Championship clash with Plymouth Argyle at Loftus Road on Saturday will beat the big freeze.
The icy weather has decimated the sporting weekend with a host of matches having to be postponed.
But the under-soil heating at Loftus Road has ensured the pitch is playable, so much so that players the were able to train on it on Thursday morning.
There are also as yet no concerns about the safety of supporters with the surrounding areas clear.
A club spokesman said: "The pitch is fine and the players have trained on it, and at the moment there are no issues with the surrounding areas - although that obviously depends on whether we get more snow.
"If there is a decision to take it will be taken on Friday."
