Rangers ace inks new deal
Queens Park Rangers winger Lee Cook has signed a new two-year contract extension and has set his sights on success at Loftus Road next season.
Cook was in superb form towards the end of last season and reports had claimed a number of clubs were ready to make a move this summer.
However chairman Gianni Paladini has moved swiftly to offer the winger a new deal and the 23-year-old is delighted to pen the contract which will keep him at the club until 2009.
"I'm really pleased to have signed a new deal. I think the club are moving forward and I want to be a part of that. There is no way that I would want to miss out on the success that I think this club are going to have next season," Cook told the club's website.
"We've already made some great signings and I'm excited about a few others that I've heard about. The squad is getting stronger and I really think we're going to have a successful season next year - if I didn't, then I wouldn't have signed, it's as simple as that."
