Christian Roberts' goal revived Bristol City's promotion hopes as the Robins secured a crucial win against QPR.
The Welsh striker latched on to a Scott Murray's cross and coolly slotted the ball past Lee Camp.
City were the better side, but needed a brilliant late save from Steve Phillips to deny their former striker Tony Thorpe an equaliser.
City could have been 2-0 up by then, but Murray saw his shot saved by Camp after the Scot broke clear.
