QPR v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY Jermaine Johnson and Lewis Buxton are expected to be fit for Sheffield Wednesday’s clash with QPR.
Winger Johnson has been out for three games with a hamstring strain while defender Buxton has not played since the end of January with a similar injury. Both are expected to be named on the bench this weekend.
Manager Alan Irvine has no new injury or suspension problems, but must decide whether to make changes to his line-up after losing to a late goal at Coventry on Saturday.
Jay Simpson will have a late fitness test ahead of QPR's home game against Sheffield Wednesday.
The on-loan Arsenal forward has been struggling with a hamstring problem all week and will not be risked unless fully fit.
Defender Matt Connolly (ankle) is set to miss out again, while Serbian defender Dusko Tosic, the loan deadline-day signing from Portsmouth, is pushing for his debut.
Tosic was an unused substitute at Deepdale and may replace Wolves loanee Matt Hill at left-back.
Midfielders Gavin Mahon and Martin Rowlands remain out with long-term knee injuries.
