QPR to Sack Warnock and Replace With Lippi
The Hoops are again plotting a sensational swoop for Italy’s World Cup-winning manager Marcello Lippi.
Even though Neil Warnock has been an outstanding success at Loftus Road, his “reward” for winning promotion could be the sack.
That’s the incredible situation developing at QPR, as the club are eyeing top managers in Italy – including Marcello Lippi, 63.
The Hoops have had the former Juventus and Inter Milan boss as a target in the past and see him as the man to take the club forward in the Premier League.
Whilst it would of course be harsh for QPR to axe Neil Warnock after such a successful season it does appear that the cash rich club is looking to start a new era and may feel that a big name is needed to take the West London club to the next level. Part owner Lakshmi Mittal is ready to further bank roll the Hoops as they look to make sure they push on from promotion and look to consolidate next term, perhaps the club may feel that the appointment of a legend like Lippi would help attract big name players to the club?
