QPR to make Jones shirt tribute
QPR have been given clearance by the Football League for all their players to wear shirts with Ray Jones' name on the back against Southampton.
Striker Jones was tragically killed in a car accident last week and the Rangers' players came up with the shirt idea as a fitting tribute.
"In conjunction with the players, we have decided that this would be an appropriate way of publicly remembering Ray," QPR boss John Gregory told the club's website.
After the visit of Southampton on Saturday the number 31 shirt will be retired in memory of Jones.
