QPR slap £1.5M price tag on Reheem Sterling
14 year old sensation Reheem Sterling appears unlikely to leave QPR on the cheap. The London club reportedly turned down a £750,000 bid for the youngster who recently impressed on his debut for the England under 16s team.
Last week, both Arsenal and Manchester City were reported to have made concrete steps to sign Sterling, with Liverpool keeping tabs. Gunners Academy Director Liam Brady spoke to the Rangers wonderkid and both Arsenal and City were seemingly prepared to offer fringe players to the Loftus Road club in addition to cash.
However, QPR are reluctant to see their star prospect leave and are set to give Sterling his first team debut next month when he turns 15. He will likely become the youngest ever league player in England, a move that is sure to further increase his value.
